Church
I went to church today with only my grandma. My dad wasn't feeling well and my parents and my baby sister and brother stayed home. I'm sure they had a great time at home; I had a great time at church. I like church because you learn about the Gospel and other things. I like music time the best. We came home from church and then I ate a ham sandwich, and that's all for today.

Marley, I am proud that you went to church today with your Grandma Laura. That is what grandmas do when your parents are tied up with things like a new baby, or if they are not feeling well, like Mac felt today.
It was nice to talk to you on the webcam last night for a bit, I always love the sound of your voice. You must be helping Jack learn to talk as well, because he is really saying a lot of new words. Grandma Jackie and I were happy that both you and Jack talked to us. We miss you guys a ton. It was also terrific that Calliope was awake for awhile so we could see her with her little eyes open, checking things out---she has been asleep the other times we have talked with your family on the webcam. You sure have a cute little sister---she sure looks a lot like someone I know...HER BEAUTIFUL FIRST GRADER OLDER SISTER!!
Grandma Jackie and I want to wish you the best tomorrow in 1st grade, and hope that you really enjoy the entire year, too! Remember to be kind to your classmates, and to show respect for your teacher, the other teachers, principal, school lunch workers, etc. I know you will, because your Dad and Mom have taught you well---including some exceptional manners---now it is your job to use those manners so that everyone will remember that Marley X. Williams is a very special and thoughtful young lady.
Be sure to have some fun, too, Marley, after all, what would school be if you didn't enjoy yourself while you are learning?? We will be thinking of you tomorrow and every day. Keep an eye on Jack for us, and help your Mom & Dad with Calliope. You don't know it yet, but little Callie has already started looking up to you, because in all the world she has one unique thing...just ONE older SISTER! You, Jack and Callie take good care of your Mom, Dad and Grandma Laura, OK??

You made a good decision going to church! I like singing time too. I get to play the piano in primary in our ward and I love it! I bet you sing the loudest!
